ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Building Caretaker, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day care and presentation of our luxury residential developments. From maintaining pristine common areas to ensuring everything works seamlessly behind the scenes, your role is essential in maintaining the building to the highest standard, striving to ensure it remains a place that our residents love to come home to. Our developments feature expansive gardening areas, so having a green thumb would be highly advantageous.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the upkeep of building facilities, including common areas, amenities and outdoor areas.
- Perform maintenance tasks and report potential maintenance or issues – escalating these where required.
- Maintain landscaped gardens and outdoor spaces – a green thumb is a big advantage!
- Take responsibility for cleaning and maintaining communal spaces to reflect our high standard.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to residents and while managing external contractors.
ABOUT YOU
We are searching for someone friendly and approachable who has:
- A proactive, hands-on approach with pride in your work
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills required
- Previous experience in building maintenance or caretaking is advantageous
- Proficient in using systems and digital applications to support reporting, scheduling, and operational efficiency (Experience with MYBOS is advantageous).
- A basic understanding of building services, operations and caretaking agreements is a plus
- Gardening experience is advantageous
- Basic handyman/maintenance skill
