Clark Rubber is a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its, foam, rubber and pool categories.
*We are seeking outgoing, knowledgeable , reliable and motivated individuals to join the team for 20 - 38 hours as a part-time retail assistants or fulltime at our Joondalup store.
*This position will suit individuals who are focused and motivated with a background in retail sales, customer service, staff training and solution selling. This position will lead into a supervisor roll so past experience in this field is required but not necessary if you have what it takes.
RETAIL SALES DUTIES
1. Serve customers courteously and efficiently, ensuring the highest level of customer service standards are always met.
2. Conducting water tests and assisting store customers with product selection.( training provided).
3.Providing technical advice and assistance to consumers in relation to pool maintenance and care
4. Assisting customers in finding the goods and products they seek.
5. Assisting customers through answering queries and providing guidance and advice on product selection.
6. Achieving sales and gross profit targets as set by the Store Manager.
7. Engage with all customers by requesting and collecting their email addresses as Mailing List subscribers.
8. Operating the Point-of-Sale system efficiently and effectively ensures that all revenue is recorded correctly.
9. Stock shelves and display products in accordance with planograms and our Merchandising Standards.
10. Ticketing items within the store in accordance with the Merchandising Standards.
11. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
12. Start and End of day register balancing/counting.
13. Managing customer refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy and approval process with the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
14. Follow and complete housekeeping tasks as listed on the Daily and Weekly Action Lists.
15. Deal with customer complaints to resolve them with support from the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
16. Responsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters or fraudulent credit cards, etc.
17. Receiving and storing stock deliveries as required.
18.High level of verbal and written communication skills.
19.Outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
20.Able to read and understand measurement.
21.Training in product knowledge and pool care products will be provided.
22. Other tasks and duties as directed
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service (pool shop related and bulky goods )or similar
· Excellent understanding of swimming pool water chemistry and filtration systems
· Current Full not restrivted driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Strong customer focus and a history of building a customer base
· Strong communication and training skills
· Excellent presentation and customer service skills
