Permanent Part-Time | Remote | 15 Hours Per Week
We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded Client Engagement Specialist to join a growing Australian business working exclusively across the property and finance industries.
This is not a generic customer service or call-centre position.
You’ll be speaking with prospective clients who have already engaged with businesses across buyers advocacy, property investment, mortgage broking and finance. Your role is to understand their situation, have a genuine conversation, identify where they’re at in their journey and, where appropriate, progress them to the next step.
You’ll work across a small portfolio of professional client accounts, each with established processes, qualification criteria and systems.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience within Australian property, real estate, mortgage broking, lending, finance, wealth or a closely related industry is required.
The Role
Your day will involve:
- Speaking with prospective clients by phone
- Following up new and existing enquiries
- Conducting structured qualification conversations
- Understanding a prospect’s situation, goals and timeframe
- Booking qualified appointments
- Following up prospects who aren't ready immediately
- Confirming appointments and following up missed appointments
- Conducting client-care follow-up calls
- Maintaining accurate CRM notes, tasks and records
- Working across several client accounts with different qualification criteria and processes
- Following established scripts, call frameworks and workflows
- Escalating matters outside your scope when required
- Providing a consistently high standard of communication and customer experience
This is not cold calling random consumers from purchased lists, and you will not be expected to provide financial, credit, property or investment advice.
Who We're Looking For
You'll need at least 2 years of professional experience in one or more of:
- Mortgage broking or lending
- Buyers advocacy
- Property investment
- Residential real estate
- Finance
- Wealth/property advisory
- A closely related Australian property or financial-services environment
Just as importantly, you need to be very good on the phone.
We're looking for someone who can build rapport naturally, ask intelligent questions and confidently guide a conversation without sounding scripted or pushy.
You'll also need:
- Strong spoken and written English
- Confidence with regular outbound calling
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Professional phone manner
- Ability to follow established processes consistently
- Confidence learning different client workflows
- CRM experience
- Strong computer literacy
- Ability to work independently from home
- Reliability during agreed working hours
- Australian work rights
Hours & Location
This is a permanent part-time, fully remote position.
You'll initially work:
15 guaranteed hours per week
3 hours per day, Monday to Friday
There will also be opportunities to work additional hours as required, with the potential for your regular hours to increase as the business continues to grow.
You must be available during agreed Australian business hours.
Remuneration
From $27.97 per hour + superannuation
Employment conditions and applicable entitlements will be provided in accordance with the relevant Award and National Employment Standards.
Why Join?
This role would suit someone who has worked within property or finance but wants a more flexible, remote position without stepping completely outside the industry.
You'll be joining at an early stage of a growing business, with the opportunity for your responsibilities and hours to increase over time.
You'll receive structured training across our systems, client processes and call frameworks, while bringing your existing industry knowledge and communication skills to the role.
