Warehouse Assistant /Customer Delivery Driver
Narangba Distribution Centre | 30–40 hrs per week
This is an active, on the go role — not a desk job, but not a punishing grind either. Deliveries run in a two person team, so you and your delivery partner share the load at each stop — carrying and manoeuvring premium outdoor furniture that isn't always heavy, but is often bulky and awkward to handle (think tight doorways, stairs and odd shapes) — before heading back on the road to the next job together. Our current team will tell you it's steady, genuinely active work that keeps you fit rather than wears you out. What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering with confidence: working as a two person delivery team to safely transport and deliver customer orders, providing a professional and friendly experience every time
- Warehouse operations: picking, packing, loading and unloading stock and containers
- Truck loading & unloading: lifting, manoeuvring and securing loads properly and efficiently, sharing the physical work with your delivery partner
What We're Looking For
- Happy to be active and on the move rather than sitting still — you don't need to arrive as an athlete, just willing to get in and be hands on alongside your delivery partner
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar warehouse or delivery role
- Current, clean LR licence (or above)
- A track record of reliability — people who turn up, see the day through, and don't leave the team short handed
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Well-presented, friendly and customer-focused
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Able to follow safety and quality procedures, including manual handling
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Good literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
