Tandoori Cook – Casual
Harvest of India in Gawler East is looking for an experienced and reliable Tandoori Cook to join our team on a casual basis.
About the role:
- Preparing and cooking tandoori dishes to a high standard
- Operating and maintaining the tandoor
- Preparing marinades, meats and other ingredients
- Ensuring food is cooked safely and consistently
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Assisting with general kitchen duties when required
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
About you:
- Previous experience cooking tandoori dishes is preferred
- Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Able to work well under pressure
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Available to work evenings and weekends
