About the Role
Working closely with the project management team, you will provide administrative support to the Reid Highway Grade Separations Project and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the project team.
This opportunity may suit someone with previous administration experience or someone looking to develop a career in site administration within the construction industry. Training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate build their skills and experience.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Ensuring the timely and accurate collection, control and coordination of timesheets and dockets.
- Responding to payroll and HR queries in a timely manner.
- Preparing documents and maintaining project files and records.
- Supporting accounting activities, including receipting and processing orders.
- Assisting with payroll, invoicing and other project administration activities.
- Managing ad hoc administrative requirements and providing support to employees on site.
Your Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in administration, customer service or a similar role, or a genuine interest in developing a career in site administration.
- Experience with payroll, invoicing, receipting, processing orders or month-end accruals will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and provide effective support to a busy project team.
- A willingness to learn, develop and contribute positively to the project team.
