The Hills Shire Music School is an established Music School in North West Sydney for the past 14 years with approx 350 weekly students. We are located in the Castle Hill business estate next to a busy shopping centre and we have plenty of parking and easy access. Public transport such as buses and the Norwest Rail are nearby.
We offer tuition for most instruments and encourage our students to undertake exams and perform at our yearly concerts. We are also an AMEB approved exam venue.
As with most music schools we follow the NSW public school terms.
We require Guitar teachers for Wednesdays and Thursdays 3.30pm - 8.00pm and Saturdays 2pm - 6pm. You can apply for 1 or up to 3 days, depending on your availability and discussion at interview.
Guitar teachers must know the following:
Notation, Tablature, a thorough understanding of open and barre chords, scale basics and being able to improvise is advantageous to fulfil the role.
Teaching is starting in term 3, July 2026.
Application is open ONLY to applicants who currently reside in the surrounding suburbs. Do NOT apply if you are outside the Sydney metro, interstate or overseas.
