Sushi Roll, located in Top Ryde Shopping Centre, is looking for an experienced Hot Food Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for someone who has experience working in a Japanese kitchen, takes pride in their food, and is looking for a stable, long-term position.
Position
- Hot Food Cook/Chef
- Full-time or Part-time available
- $28~35 per hour, negotiable depending on experience and performance
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of Japanese hot food dishes, including ramen, udon, donburi, curry, tempura, karaage and other kitchen menu items.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking Japanese hot food dishes
- Daily food preparation
- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Working efficiently as part of the kitchen team
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Japanese hot food/kitchen cooking
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Reliable, punctual and responsible
- Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
- Looking for a stable, long-term position
- Genuine passion for food and cooking
- Good communication and teamwork skills
