EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPING MANAGER | MELBOURNE CBD
Are you the person who walks into a hotel, spots what needs fixing and actually gets it done?
Do you know how to lead a team, keep standards high and get results without standing on the sidelines?
Then we want to hear from you.
We’re looking for an Executive Housekeeping Manager who is confident, hands-on, people-focused and ready to make a real impact.
This isn’t a “sit in the office and hope everything runs smoothly” kind of job.
You’ll be right in the action.
You’ll lead the team, work with management, solve problems, improve performance and make sure our guests walk into a property that looks and feels its best.
WHY YOU’LL WANT TO WORK WITH US
YOU’LL HAVE A TEAM TO LEAD
You’ll be the person who brings the team together, sets the standard and helps everyone perform at their best.
We want a manager who leads by example, gets involved and knows how to bring out the best in people.
YOUR PERFORMANCE ACTUALLY MATTERS
We’re KPI-driven, which means you’ll know what success looks like.
Set the target. Build the plan. Get the results.
And when you smash those targets, we’ll notice.
EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH
We love recognising people who go the extra mile.
Great leadership, strong results, excellent guest feedback and a team performing at its best could see you recognised as our Employee of the Month.
WANT TO MOVE UP?
We’re big on progression.
If you perform, develop your team and show you’re ready for more, we want to give you opportunities to grow with us.
TRAINING IS PROVIDED
Already experienced? Great.
We’ll still give you training on our systems, processes, standards and expectations so you know exactly how we operate.
MORE THAN ONE SITE
There may be opportunities to work across multiple sites, giving you more experience, more exposure and the chance to build your management skills even further.
WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE DOING
You’ll be responsible for making sure the housekeeping operation runs like it should.
That means:
-
Leading and motivating the housekeeping team.
- Setting daily priorities and keeping everyone on track.
- Training, coaching and developing your team.
- Checking rooms and public areas and making sure standards are met.
- Keeping an eye on KPIs, productivity and guest feedback.
- Managing stock, supplies and equipment.
- Working with other departments to solve problems quickly.
- Handling guest concerns professionally.
- Finding better, smarter and more efficient ways to work.
- Keeping the team accountable while creating a positive workplace.
- Stepping in when things get busy and showing the team how it’s done.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We need someone who already has management experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
You should be:
A LEADER You know how to manage people, not just tasks.
A PEOPLE PERSON You can have a difficult conversation when needed, but you also know how to recognise and encourage your team.
RESULTS-DRIVEN You like targets, KPIs and seeing the numbers improve.
HANDS-ON You’re not afraid to get involved when the team needs you.
ORGANISED You can handle a busy operation without losing your head.
AMBITIOUS You’re not looking for somewhere to sit comfortably. You want to grow.
THE BIG QUESTION: WHY YOU?
Because you could be the person who takes our housekeeping operation to the next level.
You’ll have the opportunity to lead a team, improve performance, develop people, work across sites, be recognised for your results and build your career.
If you’re the type of manager who says:
“Give me a challenge. I’ll figure it out.”
We want to meet you.
