The Position
An excellent opportunity is now available for suitably experienced Warehouse Stock Coordinator/s who want to build a strong career within Warehousing, Inventory Management and Quality. The successful candidate/s will have overall accountability for managing the flow and storage of goods in and out of the warehouse accurately, safely and in accordance with supply and demand. As a Warehouse Stock Coordinator for Con-Serv, you will play an integral role in ensuring that the efficiencies are achieved through proper Warehouse layout and correct safe storage of product so that stock is available on time and at the right quality for our customers. To be successful in this role you will need a pro-active approach to work, high attention to detail, and a genuine care for quality control and safety.
For the right candidate, there is some flexibility in the work type and this position could be considered for a perm part time or full time role within the business.
This will require you to;
- Evaluate warehouse utilisation and develop a plan for improvement; taking into consideration space, product sales, safety and security requirements
- Implement the plan to improve the storage of product and review on an ongoing basis
- Develop, manage and maintain a stock location documentation system to track the location of all product
- Oversee and unload goods received via truck and also shipping containers, using a forklift where applicable
- Ensure that incoming product is receipted and managed in accordance with Company policies and procedures, this involves accurately recording when goods arrived, their movements and exact location in the warehouse
- Complete incoming goods inspections to ensure that the correct product has been received, at the right quantities and that product complies with quality control standards
- Approve all packing slips for payment once stock has been reconciled
- Ensure that goods inward/stock control is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business
- Process claims where required on faulty goods, late deliveries and short deliveries
- Manage all stock movements into and out of the warehouse and use effective storage methods to ensure stock is kept well stored, free of congestion
- Regularly pull down overstock product to replenish accessible stock ensuring that it is readily available for assembly at work stations
- Rotate stock to ensure that it is available for assembly on a first in first out basis
Complete regular stocktakes and sales analysis to assist in forecasting future stock requirements

About You
As the successful applicant for the role, you will have;
- Previous demonstrated experience working in a similar role – However above all else we are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and a flexible, professional, and positive “Can Do” attitude towards work
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- A forklift and driver’s license
- Physical fitness, able to comfortably lift up to 20 kgs on a regular basis
- Self-motivation with the ability to work well individually and within a team
- Flexible approach and attitude
- Hardworking and reliable
Whilst not mandatory a certificate III or above in Warehousing and demonstrated experience utilising the 5S is a workplace organisation method will be viewed favourably
