We are seeking a driven Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen for a landmark new restaurant within the Powerhouse Parramatta. You'll be at the heart of service, running sections, mentoring the team, and helping deliver a dining experience that is confident, contemporary, and distinctly Australian. What You'll Do
- Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Step up to lead service in the Head Chef's absence
- Train, coach, and motivate junior kitchen team members
- Uphold food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards
- Help embed kitchen culture and standards from opening day
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or high-volume kitchen
- Strong section and time management under pressure
- A genuine passion for mentoring and developing others
- Hunger to grow into a Head Chef role over time
