Simaru True Care is seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality support to participants with complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care and assistance with daily living
- Medication administration
- Diabetes management and BGL monitoring
- Oxygen saturation monitoring
- Support with prescribed antibiotics and other clinical care needs
- Monitoring and reporting changes in participant health
- Accurate progress notes and documentation
- Following individual care plans and clinical instructions
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or equivalent
- Experience supporting participants with complex needs
- Medication Administration competency/training
- Diabetes management and BGL monitoring experience
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current DHS Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Infection Control training
- Manual Handling training
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Strong communication and documentation skills
