Engineering Consultant
Just Seal Pty Ltd is a specialist joint sealing company providing technical sealant solutions for commercial and residential construction projects.
We are seeking a full-time Engineering Consultant to join our growing team on the Gold Coast.
This role provides technical advice and specialist support across commercial, residential, remedial and marine joint sealing projects.
Key duties include:
- Assess construction substrates, joint design and movement requirements to determine appropriate sealant systems for each project.
- Provide technical advice on sealant selection, product compatibility, joint preparation and application methods for commercial and residential construction works.
- Conduct site inspections to identify sealant defects, adhesion failures, water ingress and movement-related issues, and recommend appropriate rectification solutions.
- Review project drawings, specifications and manufacturer requirements to ensure sealing systems meet technical and performance standards.
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, installation standards and technical documentation to support consistent project delivery.
- Prepare technical reports, site assessments, product recommendations and project documentation.
- Liaise with builders, architects, project managers, suppliers and clients to provide technical support and ensure compliance with project specifications and Australian Standards.
- Research and evaluate new sealant technologies, products and application methods to improve performance, durability and efficiency across the business.
Requirements:
- Relevant engineering qualification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in construction materials, building systems or related engineering fields is highly regarded.
- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
Position: Full-time, permanent
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation
Location: Gold Coast, QLD
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
