About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the office of David Paton MP, Member for Ngadjuri, as an Electorate and Community Officer based in Clare.
This role is ideal for a highly organised, community-minded professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about serving constituents across the Ngadjuri electorate. Working closely with the Member and Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of the electorate office while helping deliver positive outcomes for local communities.
No two days are the same. From constituent casework and stakeholder engagement to event coordination and office administration, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in regional South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional front-line support to constituents via phone, email and in-person enquiries
- Draft, proofread and manage correspondence on behalf of the Member
- Assist with diary and inbox management
- Coordinate meetings, community forums, stakeholder engagements and events
- Support constituent advocacy and casework matters
- Assist with grant applications and community funding opportunities
- Conduct research and prepare briefing notes, reports and recommendations
- Manage records, databases and office filing systems
- Assist with newsletters, mail-outs and community communications
- Maintain office supplies, stationery and general administrative functions
- Liaise with parliamentary offices, government departments, councils, community organisations and key stakeholders

Essential Requirements
- Previous administration, executive support or office coordination experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to undertake research and prepare structured recommendations
- Knowledge of and alignment with Pauline Hanson's One Nation policies and values
- Ability to successfully complete a National Police Check
Desirable
- Experience working in a parliamentary, political, government or similar environment
- Experience managing complex diaries and competing schedules
- Understanding of parliamentary processes
