About the Role:
Working alongside experienced solicitors and industry-leading practitioners, you’ll play a key role in managing workers’ compensation matters from commencement through to resolution while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of workers’ compensation files under solicitor supervision.
- Liaising with clients, insurers, employers, medical professionals and other stakeholders.
- Drafting legal correspondence, applications, statements and court documentation.
- Obtaining and reviewing medical and employment records.
- Preparing briefs and supporting solicitors throughout the life of each matter.
- Proactively progressing files to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Providing compassionate, timely and professional client service.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience as a Paralegal within plaintiff personal injury law.
- Experience in workers’ compensation essential
- A strong understanding of legal processes and file management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organisational ability.
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for helping people through difficult times.
- A positive attitude and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
