JCICARE SUPPORT SERVICES is seeking to employ suitable female disability Support Workers with Complex Behaviour Support experience to join our growing team across Brisbane Northside and southside ( Zillmere, Wynnum, Logan Reserve) Our participants require only the best!! So, if you are experienced in supporting individuals with high needs, complex behaviour, reliable, compassionate, patient and committed to making a difference, then this position is for you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Promote and develop independent living skills
- Provide person-centred support to our participants
- Support participant with ADLs
- Have a clear understanding of positive behaviour support and active support
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of support activities
- Meal preparation, domestic duties and medication administration
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Incident reporting and Sleep Logs recording is a must.
- Work across 24/7 roster and be available for sleepover shifts.
- Communicate with team members, family members, allied health services and other support services
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be experienced in managing complex challenging behaviour and high intensity support.
- Must be experience in implementing positive behaviour support (PBS).
- Experience in mental health support is highly regarded.
- Native English Speaker is required due to participant communication barrier.
- Experience with Incident reporting and Sleep Logs recording is a must.
- Available for Day Shift and Sleepover shifts.
Requirements
- Hold a current CPR and first aid certificate
- NDIS workers screening or yellow card and blue Card
- Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Valid Police Clearance Certificate
- Have experience in supporting individuals with complex behaviour
- MUST have a current Drivers Licence, Roadworthy & Fully Insured Vehicle and a Willingness to use Own Vehicle to Transport Participants.

Pay: $39.00 – $45.00 per hour
