Jasvelia Pty Ltd is a developing Tasmanian disability support provider seeking Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses who are interested in flexible community-based work.
This role may suit nurses who already have regular employment and are looking for additional work during evenings, weekends, or other times that fit around their existing roster.
We are looking for nurses who are interested in providing respectful, participant-centred support to people living with disability in the community. Work will be arranged according to participant needs, your availability, and your professional scope of practice.
About the role
The Community Care Nurse role may include participant-specific nursing support, health monitoring, clinical input, care planning, medication-related support where appropriate, and support for participants with more complex health needs.
The exact duties will depend on each participant, your qualifications, your registration, and your individual scope of practice.
We would like to hear from:
- Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with current AHPRA registration
- Nurses interested in flexible evening and weekend work
- Nurses who may already be employed elsewhere and are looking for additional hours
- Nurses with strong communication skills and a participant-centred approach
- Nurses with experience in disability, community care, aged care, mental health or complex care are encouraged to apply
- Nurses who are reliable, professional and comfortable working independently in the community
What Jasvelia can offer

- Additional income alongside your existing employment
- Community-based and participant-focused work
- Opportunity to become involved early with a growing Tasmanian disability support provider
- Potential for ongoing and increasing hours as our participant base grows

Jasvelia is currently progressing through its NDIS provider registration and is building its nursing capability in preparation for service delivery.
For suitable applicants who wish to work with Jasvelia, we may request a current resume/CV, evidence of nursing qualifications, AHPRA registration details and other standard employment or contractor documentation.
Employment or contractor arrangements can be discussed depending on the applicant, the nature of the work and operational requirements.
