With a-once-in-a-generation precinct that redefines the retail, dining, and wholesale experience on Sydney’s waterfront now in operation, we are looking for a Corporate Accountant who will be responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all corporate accounting functions

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a methodical Corporate Accountant who thrives on accuracy of compliance and accounting standards, taxation legislation and meeting statutory reporting deadlines, maintaining robust internal financial controls, and managing the external audit process.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will:
- Deliver decision-ready financial reporting.
- Ensure strong governance and statutory compliance
- Support effective financial planning and performance management.
- Improve financial systems, structures, and processes to support business needs.
- Act as a trusted finance partner across the organisation.
- Take ownership of outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Who you are
You will have:
- Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- CA / CPA qualification (or equivalent).
- National Police Record Check and Finance Background check. (or approval for SFM to conduct background check)
- Proven experience in financial and management accounting roles.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g.TechOne and Dynamics365 Business Central)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems

Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
