The Role
Drive merchant activation and onboarding across Victoria in collaboration with our tier-1 POS partner network.
Unlike traditional cold-calling roles, you will work with pre-identified, partner merchant accounts in retail and hospitality. Your objective is to introduce 1receipt, run quick live demos, and guide business owners through enabling our app on their existing POS hardware alongside setting up our plug-and-play Pyramid™ scanner.
This is a fast-paced merchant acquisition and field enablement role built for a high-energy communicator who thrives on building quick rapport and closing on-the-spot activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect with designated merchant venues via targeted calls and in-person store visits to introduce 1receipt.
- Deliver crisp, 3-minute product walk-throughs and activate merchants directly on their compatible POS systems.
- Visit local retail and hospitality venues across Victoria to deploy hardware and train staff on issuing digital receipts.
- Manage quick follow-up sequences to take venues from initial engagement to active daily usage.
- Collect on-the-ground feedback to help shape platform adoption and partner expansion.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in BDR / SDR, merchant acquisition, field sales, or customer enablement (POS, payments, hospitality tech, or SaaS preferred).
- Natural ability to engage busy venue owners and explain tech simply.
- Comfortable balancing remote communication with physical site visits across Melbourne.
- Motivated by milestone execution, uncapped activation bonuses, and long-term career growth in a scaling fintech.
Pay: $27.00 – $64.00 per hour
