The Role
Looking for a flexible finance role where you can make a real impact? Join our supportive Operations Finance team as a Finance Officer, working 3 days per week with flexibility around your working days.
In this role, you'll support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end activities, and operational analysis while partnering closely with site stakeholders to help drive business performance.
Our Ridge Street site services many customers in a contract manufacturing capacity focused on packaged, natural and processed cheeses. These include the renowned Bega cheese blocks- mild, tasty, and vintage, shredded and cubed cheese, natural slices, parmesan, colby, mozzarella and burger slice cheeses.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, analysis and business insights
Support budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting activities
Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and processes
Partner with operational teams to provide financial support and guidance
Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency
About you
Experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts, Assistant Accountant or similar role
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems/ERPs
Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
Proactive, organised, and eager to learn
