Reggio Academy Ltd is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our dedicated team in Castle Hill NSW.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering engaging educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing. You will work closely with other educators and families to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, develop confidence and reach their potential.
This is a full-time, permanent position based at our early learning centre in Castle Hill NSW 2154.
What you'll be doing
· Plan and implement engaging learning activities that support children's individual needs and development.
· Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment that encourages learning, confidence and participation.
· Provide experiences that support children's physical, social, emotional and language development.
· Observe, assess and document children's learning, progress and development.
· Promote language and communication skills through storytelling, songs, discussions and play-based activities.
· Monitor children's health, safety, wellbeing and nutritional needs.
· Communicate children's progress and development with parents and families.
· Work collaboratively with educators and participate in staff meetings and centre programs.
· Maintain relevant records and ensure compliance with child safety, health and hygiene requirements.
· Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the centre's educational programs and practices.
What we're looking for
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education.
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as an Early Childhood Teacher or in a similar role.
· Experience planning and implementing educational programs for young children.
· Ability to observe and document children's learning and development.
· Good understanding of early childhood learning and development principles.
· Strong communication skills when working with children, families and colleagues.
· Knowledge of children's health, safety and hygiene practices.
· Strong organisational and teamwork skills in an early childhood setting.
· A genuine commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education and care.
