About the Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented Guest Service Agents to join The Brighton Hotel front office team, on a casual basis.
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of the hotel, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their stay. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and lasting impression, with values and attitude being key to success.
You will work closely with the wider hotel team to ensure guests receive a seamless experience from arrival through to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide information about hotel facilities and services
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and professionally
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services and local attractions
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
- Manage reservations and room assignments effectively
- Utilise the hotel's property management system to process bookings and updates
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Manage phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the front desk
About You:
- Has previous experience in a guest service or front office/reception role
- Previous experience using Opera or a similar hotel property management system is highly regarded
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
- Can multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Is flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Has a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
