About the role and where you will be working:
Southern Cross Care WA is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team at Margaret Hubery House.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to care employees, ensuring residents receive exceptional, person centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life. Working closely with the Facility Manager and multidisciplinary teams, you will oversee clinical governance, quality outcomes, compliance, and the ongoing development of our care workforce.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate clinical leader who is committed to delivering excellence in aged care and driving positive outcomes for residents, families, and staff.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Providing clinical leadership and direction to nursing and care teams.
- Coordinating resident admissions, assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation.

Reviewing and managing complex care needs, including wound care, behaviour support, and palliative care.
- Collaborating with medical practitioners, allied health professionals, residents, and families to achieve the best care outcomes.

Supporting and promoting person centred care practices across the home.
- Leading quality improvement initiatives and participating in accreditation activities.
- Investigating resident incidents, monitoring clinical risks, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Providing coaching, mentoring, education, and competency assessments for care staff.
- Managing family enquiries and supporting positive resident and family relationships.
- Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
About you:
You are a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical leadership skills and a passion for delivering high quality, person centred care. You bring excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, a sound understanding of aged care standards and clinical governance, and a commitment to supporting and developing care teams. You are organised, proactive, and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for residents, their families, and your colleagues.
