Luna Lu Restaurant, located in the heart of The Rocks, Sydney, is seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team.
We are looking for a confident hospitality professional who can lead from the front, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and support the team in maintaining high operational and service standards.
About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, including:
- Leading, coaching and motivating the front-of-house team.
- Managing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth service.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high guest satisfaction.
- Managing staff performance, rostering and team coordination.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and company policies.
- Monitoring service standards, presentation and restaurant cleanliness.
- Handling customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Working closely with the kitchen and management teams to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
- Assisting with functions, events and high-volume service periods.
- Supporting sales, cost control and overall restaurant performance.
About You
We are seeking someone who:
- Has proven experience in a Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality management role.
- Is a confident and hands-on leader with strong communication skills.
- Has excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Is commercially aware and understands the importance of sales, service and cost control.
- Can work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Leads by example and takes ownership of the restaurant's performance.
- Has a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Must have availability to work weekends, including Saturday and Sunday, as required by the business.
