About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join our growing Business Services team.
In this client-facing role, you will manage a portfolio of business clients, provide taxation and business advisory services, review the work of junior team members, and build strong, long-term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public practice accountant ready to take ownership of a portfolio and play a key role in delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a client portfolio with an average value of $5 million
- Manage approximately $500,000 in annual fees
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
- Deliver tax planning and business advisory services
- Manage client relationships and provide proactive advice
- Review and mentor junior accountants
- Liaise with the ATO and ensure compliance with Australian taxation legislation
- Manage workflow, budgets and project deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce (Accounting major)
- Completed CA/CPA, or 80%+ completion will be considered
- 4+ years' experience in Australian public accounting
- Experience managing a client portfolio
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting standards
- Experience with Xero and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills

Pay: $110,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
