Linen Services is seeking a motivated and hands on Production Supervisor to lead daily productions operations at our Maryborough Linen Services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in delivering essential healthcare linen services that support hospital and health facilities across Queensland.
As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily workflows, coordinate staff allocations, monitor production performance, and ensure customer requirements are met while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be key contributor to the success of our production operations and team culture.
What you be doing
Supervising daily laundry production activities and workflow management
Coordinating employee tasks and resources to achieve production targets
Supporting staff development, training and performance improvement
Monitoring quality standards and compliance with healthcare linen requirements
Managing consumable stock levels and production administration activities
Operating and programming commercial laundry equipment as needed
Providing operational leadership in the absence of Production Manager
Promoting a safe, productive and positive workplace culture
We're looking for someone who has
Proven experience supervising operational or production teams
Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
The ability to adapt resources and priorities to meet changing demands
Experience working with automated machinery or industrial equipment
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A commitment to workplace safety, quality and customer services
Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
