About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to support the delivery of organisational development and workforce initiatives across SafeWork NSW.
Working within a collaborative team, you will provide project coordination, research and administrative support to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to organisational priorities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful capability uplift and organisational change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the delivery of organisational development and workforce projects, working closely with project leads
- Provide project management and administrative support to ensure activities are delivered on time, within scope and to quality standards
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support project outcomes and manage issues as they arise
- Coordinate working groups, meetings and consultations to support collaboration and information sharing
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and records to support governance, monitoring and evaluation
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing briefs to support decision-making and planning
- Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting the refinement of project processes and practices

About You:
You are a highly organised and motivated professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You bring:
- Experience in project coordination or support roles
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical skills, with the ability to undertake research and translate findings into practical insights
- Ability to prepare clear, concise reports and documentation
- A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
