Job title: Podiatrist, Aged Care Contractor (Brisbane)
Job description:
Rising Phoenix Care is a Brisbane based aged care provider currently completing registration with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission to deliver Support at Home services. As we prepare to launch, we are seeking an experienced podiatrist to join our contractor panel and support clients across greater Brisbane in their own homes.
About the role
Conduct home based podiatry assessments and routine foot care for older clients, including nail care, callus and corn management, and skin integrity checks
Identify and manage diabetes related and vascular foot complications, referring on where appropriate
Provide falls prevention support through gait, footwear, and lower limb assessments, aligned with the Restorative Care Pathway
Recommend and fit orthotics, footwear modifications, and mobility aids where required
Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation to support funding, reporting, and continuity of care
About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist
Experience working with older adults, ideally in aged care, community, or home based settings
Confident managing high risk feet, including diabetes related complications, independently
Right to work in Australia
Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence
A current National Police Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
Strong communication skills and a warm, person centred approach to care
