Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
An opportunity has become available for an experienced and motivated Senior Pharmacist join our Hawkesbury Pharmacy team. The Senior Pharmacist will provide expert clinical and professional leadership across pharmacy services. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled pharmacist to influence patient care, drive service excellence, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare outcomes aligned with NSW Health priorities.
Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, the Senior Pharmacist plays a key leadership role in advancing medication safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based pharmacy practice. The successful candidate will lead the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of pharmacy services, ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and individualised care.
Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across the health service, the succesful incumbent will support service development initiatives, foster innovation, and strengthen pharmacy performance through workforce development, quality improvement activities, and strategic leadership. The role is responsible for promoting best practice standards, supporting professional development, and driving initiatives that enhance both patient outcomes and service delivery.
