What you’ll do
The position exists to deliver high levels of temperature controlled stock availability through agreed levels of inventory, efficiency and service to stores from Woolworths Distribution Centres. This is achieved through effective planning with Suppliers to identify efficiencies internally and externally, timely planning for key events as well as proactively securing supply during periods of supply shortages.
The role will manage Supply Planning for both local & international suppliers.

Collaborative Planning & Forecasting: Build aligned demand and supply forecasts—particularly for seasonal and major events—by facilitating close collaboration between Buying teams, Sales Forecasting, and suppliers.

Inventory & Availability Optimisation: Monitor and leverage the Woolworths Distribution Centre network to maintain appropriate stock levels, maximising store availability and driving supply chain efficiency.

Promotional Execution & Communication: Plan and execute promotional activities effectively alongside suppliers while proactively keeping stakeholders informed of any supply chain changes impacting service or inventory.

Strategic Operating Rhythms: Establish tailored operating rhythms and regular collaboration meetings to align stakeholder plans, improve service levels, and deliver meaningful operational efficiencies.

System Transformation: Drive supply chain excellence during an exciting, ongoing business transition to a new Order Management System (OMS).
What you’ll bring
-
Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Microsoft and Google applications.

Experience in FMCG or general retail.

Supply Planning or procurement experience.

Experience in Replenishment planning.

Retail management or Supply Chain experience.

Knowledge of JDA, SAP or other software related to Supply/Supply chain Planning.
