Upper Beaconsfield Community Early Learning Centre is looking for an experienced and passionate Room Leader Educator to join our team in a permanent part-time position.
Hours: 22.5–30 hours per week
Days: 3-4
Position: Permanent Part-Time
Experience: Minimum 4 years
Operating Hours: 7:30am–5:30pm
Shifts: Rotating shifts with flexibility required
The successful applicant will work closely with our Lead Educators and wider team to provide high-quality learning experiences and genuine connections for our children and families.
Why choose us?
We are a small, community-focused, not-for-profit service with up to 27 children per day. Every dollar outside of our operating costs goes directly back into the Centre and the children we care for.
We have two classrooms:
- Kookaburras – 0–3 years
- Wombats – 3–5 years – this is the room you will be responsible for
The successful applicant will take responsibility for the Wombats Room, including the educational program, weekly observations, planning and reflections, while working collaboratively with the wider team.
This position will be subject to a 6-month probation period.
If you are looking for a change from a large 100+ place Centre, we welcome you to our small and supportive community.
We close for two weeks over Christmas, providing our team with a guaranteed break at the end of the year.
Our hours are 7:30am–5:30pm, with rotating shifts available. Applicants must be flexible with start and finish times.
