What does the job look like?
We are seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler / Allocator to join our Resources & Industrial operation at Hazelmere, supporting high-volume PUD (Pick-Up & Delivery) services for major mining customers. This is a hands-on, operational role suited to someone who thrives in a constantly changing environment, can make quick, commercial decisions under pressure and enjoys being at the center of daily transport activity. Key areas:
Coordinate daily PUD despatch, including load planning, scheduling and fleet utilisation to maximise payloads and commercial returns
Allocate company fleet and drivers in line with fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility and legislative requirements
Manage day-to-day operational issues in a fast-moving, time-critical environment where priorities change quickly
Monitor delivery performance and KPIs, including customer delivery windows
Accurate data entry and administration across systems including SAP, payroll, billing and revenue capture
Building strong working relationships with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders

Demonstrated experience in transport scheduling / allocation within a busy transport or logistics environment
Strong working knowledge of Australian transport regulations, including fatigue, mass and load restraint
Experience managing high-volume PUD operations and competing priorities
The ability to think on your feet, stay calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
Strong customer focus with the confidence to manage issues as they arise
High attention to detail with a commitment to accurate data and compliance
