We are a dynamic family-owned company operating independent supermarkets in the Central West and Riverina areas of New South Wales. With a focus on fresh food, our vision is to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through quality produce, everyday lower prices and by supporting local growers and businesses. We are now seeking a motivated and passionate Retail Manager to lead under the guidance of the Store Manager in the Central West region.
About the Role:
This full-time position of Retail Manager requires a highly organised and capable individual who is eager to learn and quick to adapt to new environments. They would be crucial in creating and maintaining a vibrant store culture that delivers the highest standards of customer service.
Attention to detail is essential and the successful candidate will have an important role to play in the success of our business, ensuring that sales, store and merchandise appearance, customer service and operational functions are first class every day.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide ongoing support, training and development for your team
- Outstanding customer service standards
- Profit and loss management, including budgets
- Personnel cost management, including rostering
- Stock control
- Maintain store presentation including visual standards and promotional activities
What we need from you:
- Previous supermarket Retail manager experience
- Diploma or at least 3 years of experience.
- Customer service focused
- Ability to engage, mentor and lead a team of 100 staff
- Understanding of supermarket best practice including P&L management, inventory & merchandising
- Excellent communication skills

Base salary (excluding superannuation): A$79,430 per year
