We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Administrator/Office Assistant to join our team in Chatswood. This permanent, full-time role is essential for supporting our HR functions and ensuring smooth office operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace environment and assisting with various administrative tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of our HR department and office enironment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screeening candidates and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.
- Handle general office administration tasks, such as managing correspondence and maintaining office supplies.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations as required.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
- Providing general office and administrative support as required
- Assisting with insuring servicing of vehicles
- Ensuring all registrations of vehicles are up to date
- Managing Debtors
- Ensuring office and kitchen space in order and fully stocked
- Answering over-flow inbound office calls
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
