Achieve Logistics Solutions is a medium sized distributor supplying to businesses across Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle regions. We have been growing at a rapid pace which has created the requirement to employ a Distribution Operations Manager to oversee daily operations.
We are seeking someone with strong skills is planning delivery runs and managing a team of approx 15 staff across day and night shifts.
This is a role for someone that has the flexibility to work across all shifts when required. The role requires a mix of hands-on management and strategic planning skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage warehouse and logistics staff.
- Run Planning: Schedule about 300 deliveries per day to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Order Fulfillment: Oversee stock receiving and sorting to meet delivery targets.
- Compliance: Ensure workplace safety and transport regulations are met and HACCP procedures are maintained.
- Reporting: Analyze performance data to improve processes and reduce costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years in transport, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Technology: Proficiency in delivery optimisation software such as OptimoRoute and Microsoft Excel.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve operational problems quickly.
- Organization: Strong project management and time management skills..
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
