Morrison's Gardens is looking for an experienced Senior Gardening Team Leader to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading people, building strong client relationships, and delivering exceptional horticultural outcomes.
You'll be responsible for leading your own team while also supporting other gardening crews, mentoring team members, improving site standards, and working closely with our Operations Manager to ensure every client receives outstanding service.
This isn't an office-based management role. You'll be out in the field, working alongside your team and setting the standard every day.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring and developing gardening team members
- Driving and managing a company vehicle between client sites
- Delivering high-quality garden maintenance and landscaping projects
- Diagnosing plant and lawn issues and recommending appropriate treatments
- Identifying plant species and selecting suitable plants based on season, sunlight and landscape design
- Meeting with clients to discuss garden improvements, upgrades and ongoing maintenance
- Sourcing plants and materials for one-off projects and quotations
- Coordinating one-off gardening and landscaping projects
- Maintaining gardening equipment and helping improve operational processes across the team
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading or supervising gardening or landscaping teams
- Qualification in Horticulture
- Strong horticultural knowledge including plant identification, lawn care, pest management and chemical application
- Positive, customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to motivate, coach and develop others
- Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Current Australian Driver's Licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Full Australian working rights

Pay: $42.00 – $45.00 per hour

Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:
