We’re looking for reliable allrounders who can cook, serve, prep, clean, and back the team when it’s busy.
Who We Are
Smoky Sue’s is low-and-slow barbecue done properly.
Food trucks, breweries, festivals, long days, big crowds. We do regional events to so there are opportunities to travel with us too.
We work hard, have a laugh, and take pride in what we serve.
No drama. No passengers.
The Role
You’ll be helping run services across our Smoke house, trailers and events, including:
- Serving customers and handling orders
- Cooking and assembling food to spec
- Prep, bump-in, and pack-down
- Cleaning and keeping the trailer tight
- Supporting the team during busy rushes
Some shifts are chill. Some are chaos. You need to be good in both.
Hours & Work Pattern
- Mostly weekends and event days
- Some weekday brewery shifts and prep shifts at our Smokehouse in Brookvale
- Shifts can be long — festivals especially
This suits people who like weekend work and don’t mind getting their hands dirty.

Requirements
- Hospitality or customer service experience (kitchen experience a bonus)
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
