Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant in Nursing to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.
About the Role
As an Assistant in Nursing at Joondalup Health Campus, you are responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care to a diverse range of patients. We are looking for an Assistant in Nursing who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
Principal Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):

Assists with patient care

Provides support in resuscitation situations under the supervision and guidance of the Registered Nurse
-
Assists patients with meals and/or refreshments under the direction of a Registered Nurse
-
Observes agitated or confused and wandering patients as required
-
Assists with the presentation and maintenance of a tidy, safe environment; including the making of beds and presentation of patients’ bed areas
-
Performs cleaning and restocking tasks as directed
-
Promotes and adheres to Occupational Safety and Health guidelines within JHC
-
Maintains effective communication and functions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
-
Assists with the safe transport, transfer and positioning of patients within boundaries of training and skill level
-
Member of the Code Black team as required
About You

Demonstrates commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values

Recent relevant experience in an acute health care setting
-
Successful completion of Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care)

Good problem solving and analytical, organisational and communication (written and verbal) skills
-
Proven ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team
-
Must be able to accommodate flexible shift patterns including AM, PM and night duty shifts.

Additional Information
