The Role
We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a high-profile digitisation program. This is a leadership-focused role suited to a testing professional with strong experience across test management, automation, CI/CD, release delivery, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for leading testing activities across a large-scale transformation initiative while ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development and release lifecycle.
Working as part of a cross-functional delivery team, you will provide strategic testing leadership, mentor team members, drive best practices, and help ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage testing activities across a major digitisation program.
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance activities.
Implement and oversee CI/CD testing and release management processes.
Drive continuous improvement across automation, testing frameworks, and delivery practices.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to testing and quality engineering teams.
Coordinate testing activities across complex stakeholder groups and multiple technology streams.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and project stakeholders.
Monitor delivery progress and proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks and blockers.
Support release planning, deployment readiness, and quality governance activities.
Produce regular status reporting, progress updates, and stakeholder communications.
What You'll Need
7–10 years of experience in Test Management, Quality Engineering, or Test Leadership roles.
Strong experience managing testing activities within complex enterprise environments.
Proven experience implementing and supporting CI/CD testing and release processes.
Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and modern quality engineering practices.
Experience working within Agile and large-scale transformation programs.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring testing teams.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience working in high-pressure, mission-critical delivery environments.
Ability to identify risks, resolve blockers, and drive successful delivery outcomes.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance principles.
Experience producing test strategies, test plans, governance artefacts, and quality reporting.
Knowledge of DevOps, continuous testing, release management, and modern software delivery practices.
Ability to work across diverse technology environments and rapidly adopt new tools and processes.
