Doju, a Good Food Guide One Hat restaurant in Melbourne CBD, is looking for a Casual Commis Chef to join our kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for a young chef who wants to learn, develop their skills and gain experience in a professional, high-quality kitchen.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys cooking, has a strong work ethic and wants to grow as part of a small, passionate team.
About you:
- Some professional kitchen experience preferred
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
- Able to work well as part of a small team
- Comfortable working in a busy service environment
- Genuine interest in food and quality produce
- Available evenings and weekends
- Must currently have valid Australian working rights
Korean cooking experience is not required.
You’ll work alongside our chefs across prep and service, with opportunities to learn different sections, techniques and ingredients while developing your skills.
Casual position – approximately 20–30 hours per week.
