Position Overview:
As an Occupational Therapist with Pearl Home Care, you will play a crucial role in competing holistic assessment, creating tailored management plan, and organising necessary equipment to empower our aged care clients to live independently in their own homes. This role is perfect for an individual who is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home-based assessments, create care plans, and generate functional capacity reports.
- Perform Occupational Therapy assessments in areas such as activities of daily living, mobility and home safety.
- Assess home environments and prescribe Assistive Technology and Home Modifications as needed.
- Collaborate with community teams and key stakeholders to monitor client progress and care.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills with an innovative and holistic approach to health care.
- Work autonomously, effectively plan and prioritise workloads.
- Maintain well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a client-centered approach.
Requirements:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- National Police Certificate completed within the last 12 months.
- First Aid Certificate with CPR completed within the last 12 months.
- Previous experience as an occupational therapist in the Aged Care sector or healthcare industry.
- Current NSW drivers Licence.
- The right to work in Australia.

Hourly rate:
$80.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Travel allowances and superannuation are also included. Pay rates are regularly reviewed to ensure fairness and satisfaction is maintained.
