Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ability to support Nexar Group with 20+ hours per week across 4-to-7-day roster.
- Liaising with police and emergency response services when necessary
- MUST wear PPE AT ALL TIMES
- Be able to verbally de-escalate any customer aggression and keep staff safe.
- Must be comfortable stepping in verbally to assist staff if any aggression.
- Adaptable to any situations that arise.
- Follow direction of Security Team Leaders at all times.
You will have:
- Superior customer and client service skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Reporting ability to supervisor
- Report writing skills
- Security experience
- Security Licence
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a collaborative way.
- Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
- Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding and restraining persons.
- Must be able to stand on feet for extended periods
- Current First Aid certificate
- Ability to attain a Working with Children Check
- Ability to travel to different locations for work.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- The successful candidate must have unrestricted availability to work a 24/7 roster
Minimum requirements a successful candidate will possess are:
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid Security License & First Aid Certificate
- Ability to work both day shift and night shift when required
- Willing to travel to cover multiple locations
- Ability to be responsive for ADHOC coverage
- Ability to travel without restrictions and own means of transportation
- Hold a current Baseline Clearance

Pay: $28.42 – $78.00 per hour
