Injury Management Doctors is a workplace injury practice. We coordinate care for injured workers from the first report through to return to work. Triage, treatment, case management, and the reporting insurers and employers need.
We're looking for psychologists to work with us.
The work
Injured workers rarely arrive with one problem. Some are referred for a primary psychological injury. Many more come to us with a physical injury that stopped being only physical somewhere along the way, pain that isn't resolving, a claim that's dragged on, a workplace they're now anxious about walking back into. You'd be treating both.
Day to day:
- Initial assessments and ongoing treatment by secure video or in-clinic
- Treatment plans built around function and return to work, not symptom relief alone
- Reports and progress updates for insurers, employers and referring doctors, held to the same standard as an in-person consult
- Working alongside our medical and allied health team rather than in a silo. Our telehealth sits inside injury and case management, so you'd have the physical side of the file in front of you, not a referral letter and nothing else
What we're looking for
- AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
- Current professional indemnity insurance
Experience in workers compensation or return-to-work is a real advantage. If you have the clinical skills and want to move into this area, say so in your application, we'd rather train the right clinician than hold out for a perfect CV.
Pay: $110,000.00 – $141,348.89 per year
Licence/Certification:
- AHPRA registration (Preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Shellharbour NSW
