Bland Shire Council is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Coordinator Assets to lead our asset management function and help drive smarter, sustainable infrastructure decisions.
This is more than maintaining asset registers. You will turn asset condition, data, risk and financial information into clear priorities that influence maintenance, renewal, capital investment and Council’s long term planning.
What we are looking for in you

- A strong understanding of the full asset lifecycle is essential including asset condition, risk, valuations, renewal planning, lifecycle costing, budgeting, forecasting and long term financial planning. The ability to connect these areas and use reliable asset information to inform sustainable infrastructure investment will be key to success in the role.
- Beyond technical expertise, Council is seeking a strategic and analytical thinker who can see the bigger picture, question the data, challenge existing practices and identify opportunities to strengthen Council’s approach in asset management.
- Strong communication and relationship building, sound professional judgement and the ability to work effectively across operational, technical and financial areas of Council are essential.
- A demonstrated commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity and fostering a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Class C Drivers Licence.
What we have to offer:
