We're seeking a Therapy Assistant to support clients in implementing therapy programs prescribed by allied health professionals.
This role is ideal for someone studying or qualified in an allied health discipline who wants practical experience while making a meaningful difference.
Key Responsibilities
You may assist clients with:
- Prescribed exercise programs
- Stretching and strengthening routines
- Mobility and balance training
- Functional rehabilitation activities
- Therapy equipment setup and use
- Therapeutic massage or soft tissue techniques (where suitably qualified)
- Capacity-building activities
- Community participation
- Monitoring client progress
- Accurate documentation and communication with treating therapists
About You
You are:
- Passionate about rehabilitation and disability support
- Encouraging, patient and empathetic
- Physically capable of assisting with mobility and exercise programs
- Able to work independently while following therapy plans accurately
- Committed to evidence-based, person-centred care
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- National Police Clearance
- Right to work in Australia
Highly Desirable
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
