As Australia's largest undergraduate surveying program continues to grow, UniSQ is seeking a Lecturer (Surveying) to join our School of Science, Engineering and Digital Technologies.

You will contribute to the education of surveyors in Australia’s largest undergraduate program. Through engaging teaching and student support, you will help prepare graduates with the knowledge, skills and professional capabilities required for successful careers in the surveying and spatial sciences sectors.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your research profile, contribute to collaborative research projects and engage with industry partners to address contemporary challenges facing the profession. Working within a supportive academic environment, you'll contribute to curriculum development, student supervision, research activities and professional engagement that enhances the University's reputation and impact.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a four-year degree in Surveying (or equivalent standing*) together with a relevant postgraduate qualification. For appointment to a Teaching and Research position, you will hold, or be eligible to complete, a PhD in a relevant discipline.
You will bring expertise in surveying and spatial sciences, with demonstrated capability in teaching, research or professional practice in areas such as cadastral surveying, mine surveying, engineering surveying, geodesy, photogrammetry, remote sensing, land administration, spatial artificial intelligence or related fields.
Experience within the Australian surveying industry, together with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate well with people at all levels, will support your success. Current professional registration and a demonstrated commitment to research, attracting funding to support research and industry engagement will be highly regarded.
- In determining experience relative to qualifications, consideration is given to teaching experience, experience in research, experience outside tertiary education, experience in the Australian surveying industry, professional contributions and/or technical achievement.
