Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Lead Educator to join our Caroline Springs team in providing a safe and stimulating environment which meets the social, cultural, emotional, educational and physical needs of the children and encourages parent and community participation.
⭐ About the Role
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday based in the Toddler room.
The role is available as maternity leave cover until February 2027 , with the potential to extend beyond this period.
As the Lead Educator, you will play a key role in creating a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive. You will lead curriculum planning, mentor fellow educators within your room, and build strong relationships with children and families while ensuring high-quality educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Lead, develop and implement engaging, high-quality educational programs
Mentor and support educators to plan and deliver meaningful learning experiences.
Overseeing and approving centre Storypark posts
Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity
Provide constructive feedback to educators to promote continuous improvement and a culture of positive change
Collaborate with families to ensure each child’s learning journey is supported and enriched

About You
You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.
Key skills and requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator or strong experience working within a Toddler Room
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
