Café Manager – Toby's Estate One Farrer | Monday–Friday
Toby's Estate One Farrer is looking for an experienced and highly hands-on Café Manager to lead our busy specialty coffee café.
This is a high-volume operation serving 15–18kg of coffee per day, with a team of 8 strong, friendly individuals who genuinely enjoy working together.
We have a strong family feel within the team and a loyal customer base made up largely of regulars. Customer service and coffee are at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
This is a very hands-on management position. You will be responsible for the full day-to-day operation of the café, while remaining actively involved on the floor and behind the coffee machine.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, supporting and developing a team of 8
- Managing the full café operation
- Maintaining exceptional specialty coffee standards
- Delivering outstanding customer service and building relationships with regular customers
- Overseeing kitchen operations and food quality
- Managing ordering, stock control and food waste
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and operational standards
- Managing daily workflow in a very fast-paced environment
- Jumping on the tools and leading by example
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous Café Manager experience
- Is highly confident with specialty coffee and barista operations
- Is comfortable managing a high-volume café
- Is genuinely hands-on and enjoys being part of the action
- Has strong leadership and communication skills
- Is organised, proactive and able to think on their feet
- Takes customer service seriously
- Enjoys developing a strong team culture

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Specialty Coffee: 2 years (Required)
- Cafe manager : 3 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safety Supervisors Certificate (Preferred)
