The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs
- Coordinate and manage breakdown repairs
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities
- Supervise project works and plant improvements
- Drive plant reliability and equipment performance
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime
- Manage contractors when required
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely
- Maintain maintenance records and reporting requirements
You will have:
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Experience within heavy industry, manufacturing, processing, or similar environments
- Ability to plan and prioritise maintenance activities
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
