About the role
We are seeking a Leading Hand Tradesperson with a minimum of 4 years experience to join our family friendly team on the central Gold Coast, QLD. This full-time role is a hands on position for a skilled professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality landscaping services for our diverse range of clients. As part of this role you will be involved in all aspects of soft and hard landscaping elements as well as high end maintenance, ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Undertaking landscaping tasks such as garden preparation, planting, mulching, and lawn installation and maintenance
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner
- Implementing a diverse range of projects including paving, decking, retaining walls, stonework, irrigation and water features
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure the successful delivery of landscaping projects
- Managing and providing on site training for other staff.
- Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Able to work from plans and specifications.
- Strong practical skills in all aspects of soft and hard landscaping.
- Proficiency in the use of landscaping tools and equipment, skid steer loader and mini excavator with a commitment to safety.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- A current car licence (C class) and access to reliable transportation
- Must be an Australian citizen with legal work authorisation
